Day 1 - Myofascial Release for Neck, Shoulders & Back
Saturday June 15th 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Learn how Myofascial Release (MFR) targets muscles by rehydrating tissues, releasing adhesions, restoring neuromuscular connections, and increasing blood circulation. This session will support help you bring balance to your upper body. Those with scoliosis/lordosis, poor posture, injuries, pain, or lack of range of motion in the neck, shoulders & back will benefit from this workshop. Suitable for beginners.
Day 2 - Myofascial Release for Hips, Legs & Feet
Sunday June 16th 9am - 12pm
We will continue to explore the fascia, using Myofascial Release (MFR) with a special focus on Hips, Legs and Feet. Learn how to apply MFR to your personal yoga practice to assist in muscle recovery, scar tissue repair, pain reduction, soreness and improved muscular elasticity . Athletes of all disciplines and people with injuries or lack of mobility in the hips, legs & feet will benefit from this workshop. Beginners welcome!

ABOUT SHEENA
Sheena Trotman is 200 hour certified yoga teacher currently enrolled in Yoga Medicine’s advanced 500-hour teacher training. In her home of Barbados, she offers private sessions to patients recovering from injuries, pain management and the management of symptoms caused by medical conditions at the Warrens Physiotherapy Clinic. In addition, Sheena leads Hatha Vinysasa classes focused on breath awareness and body alignment. Sheena caters to all ages and abilities focusing on good health, healing and recovery.
